Eddy Bugnut, affectionately known as Bug, is a producer/songwriter from Vancouver who writes and performs guitar-based songs. He works from his home studio called the Devil’s Workshop and has recently released his first solo album called Heavy Medicine

Bug’s own label, Bugnut Records , makes high-quality music recordings available for your media projects.  He is also the founder of  Guitarland

Bug formerly played guitar and was producer for Major Goodvibes , a band which released 3 CDs (”Fearful Feasible Feast”, “Shut Up and Get Out of My Mansion!” and “Girl’s In Love With My Money”) and was featured on 2 compilation CDs (”Vancouver Seeds” and New York City-based “Reaction Volume 7″).

Previously, Bug was a house engineer at The Sanctuary Studio in Vancouver.  He has also played bass guitar with some of Vancouver’s top club acts, including Ettinger, Big Radio, and Papa Woody.  Before hitting the road to perform music full-time Bug taught guitar and music theory at Douglas Academy of Music and later at Long and McQuade. Afterward, he formed Neurotic Dog, a band which completed 3 Canadian tours.

Bug studied guitar and music arrangement at Douglas Academy of Music and attended Vancouver Art School as a music production student.  In addition to his own material he is currently producing new recordings for ADHD, Patos and Major Goodvibes.
